B. Creative Design & Services sourced and selected artificial cherry blossom trees and branches to beautify the arrivals stage, guest entries, and afterparty. We led and directed onsite plant installation throughout the event. Once our main assignment was complete, we styled various displays and props within the after-party area.
Our plantscaping services were requested for the installation of the floral package at the Kung Fu Panda 4 World Premiere and after party. We faithfully recreated the client’s renderings using faux foliage.
Brenda selected the best available cherry blossom trees and hundreds of artificial branches. The look was completed with large rocks and patches of live grass. We did not have the luxury of seeing or working with the custom roof pieces, so we came prepared with the tools and materials needed for several different attachment techniques. Alongside a small team of set dressers, we determined the most efficient method allowing for speedy installation and dismantle.
The main stage, between the cherry blossom trees was the focal point for stars’ arrival and doubled as a backdrop for a Tenacious D music video filmed live before everyone moved into the theater. We installed hundreds of additional branches, trees, and potted plants throughout the after party, including multiple entrances, food kiosks, and photo ops. Once our assignment was complete, the client asked us to use their selection of prop rentals to create themed vignettes throughout the after-party area.
