B. Creative Design & Services selected, sourced, led installation, and styled all the live and artificial plants and trees for the red carpet. We also supplied several layers of set dressing, including fabrication of the flags used at the entries to the event and the TCL Chinese Theater.
We worked alongside the Disney production team and 15|40 Creative Studio to create themed environments for the arrivals and end of carpet. They built the event then our team supplied and led installation of the plant life and set dressing. Towers flanked the entry to the event, styled with tattered netting, hundreds or feet of chain, and tall flags waving 20ft over the red carpet.
Our flags fly high above the entrance to the TCL Chinese Theater on either side of the giant ape sculpture created by Experiential Supply Company and Object Construction. Post event, they wave over the audience at The El Capitan Theatre for the run of the show.
Fun Fact: What do you do when a permanent traffic signal is right in the middle of your set? Make it look like part of the show! We’ve styled some odd things over the years but it was the first time we maxed out the lift to dress a traffic light.
