B. Creative Design & Services designed, sourced, and led the installation of this woodland forest plantscape inside of an event tent right in the middle of Westwood Village.
For this Disney+ project, a quick design solution was needed when the initial castle-themed concepts were eliminated. Brenda was enlisted to craft a captivating entry with two distinct trails to the theater, relying solely on trees and plants. Inspired by the forests of Wales, where the series was filmed, Brenda envisioned a magical landscape.
To introduce a sense of height within the confines of the tent's roof, we secured a dozen 10-15' artificial tree trunks strategically placed among the largest live trees that could be accommodated. Collaborating with the client's art director, a massive redwood burl root was chosen to become the branded focal point and VIP photo opportunity.
On site, we styled the event tent with lichen and moss-covered stumps, logs, rocks, and boulders. The entire grounds were lush with a diverse variety of ferns and other plants. Hundreds of pulsing "fireflies" added a playful touch, creating a magical atmosphere as guests navigated their way to the main event.
